Rhapsodies

Rhapsody # 296

Last night my love,

He saw me from the window

He put his eyes into me

He can’t stop thinking of my eyes

And my smile

Last night my love,

The Roman soldier fought for my love,

While I was sleeping in my dreams

He showed up

I was there by his side

Last night my love,

I fell in love,

With the Roman soldier

Who gave me all

As both are from different backgrounds

He didn’t care,

He saw a woman that he can love

Instead of a culture to Rome

He wore his classic wardrobe

But with me he dresses as a gladiator

To fight for my love

Last night my love,

A Roman soldier won my love

I was asleep

And when I woke up

I was searching for my gladiator of love

He is a Roman soldier

That fell in love

We don’t know how this works

But a thin line between two worlds

Opened a door

And both of us got in between

Of the unknown

And each other fell in love
