Becoming a Leader

These are just some tips I adopted long ago and it served me well for that time. I hope it serves well to whoever wants to become a leader.

Is not easy to become a leader. It requires a lot of sacrifices from your part. Be a positive leader not only for your organization but for your followers as well. They need you, lead by example.

Start by understanding the complex relationship between the organization and its environment to create positive organizational behavior, development of skills and performance of followers.

Take direct action with the direction of the organization. Be more authentic, consistent and grounded in your behavior.

Increase match of skills to complex roles. Promote well being and build commitment to the organization’s direction by inviting others to provide feedback for the skills of followers.

When you tell somebody that you are going to do something, do it. No excuses.
