Rhapsodies

Be Yourself, Love Yourself

It might sound cliche but
Who we are, it’s What we do;
Remember to love yourself,
Loving the person in your mirror,
Every day in your thoughts,
Every day in your heart.

Don’t let the circumstances change the beautiful person you are within,
Be unique,
Be yourself.

Loving the person in your mirror,
Remember to love what you have,
Love who you are,
Love what you do;

Loving the person in your mirror,
Be grateful for who you are,
Be grateful for what you do,
Be grateful for the world around you,
And as you love yourself,
Remember to love others too

But do not let anybody abuse you;
Be kind
But always be right to yourself;
Don’t forget your values,
Have a strong character, “moral structure”
Be fair,
Be respectful,
Be responsible,
And show compassion.

Loving the person in your mirror,
Remember to:
Be the change you want to see.

While I am at the clinic with my daughter, waiting on her lab test results, my son is traveling the world in his imagination, and to not get her bored while we have to wait, I asked my son: Where are you now?
And he said “Madagascar”.
I told him: “I saw you with a chimpanzee”
He replied: “I am with gorillas now”

She laughed but she was thinking how her brother was so far away and she asked me to teleport to bring him back with us.

And obviously I can’t teleport but I jumped from one side to the other and she loved the show!

Don’t let your age make you feel old, you are dead when you stop having fun and stop learning. There’s always another way to see life.

Have a blessed month and a Happy Mother’s Day!
