Here’s Cardinal Thoughts~ Glenda

While you were telling me your thoughts,
I was quiet,
Listening to your hands,
Touching mine.

And while I bulletproof my heart,
Your gentle mouth kissed my back,
I couldn’t resist your soul,
But the clothes were blocking the door.

I heard the prayer in my book,
You cried remembering
that I belong to Heaven now,
No need to lie on the floor.

Because on firm ground, we loved,
In temperance we found ourselves
Studying every detail in our sighs,
But sometimes I forget, and my soul yearns for your soul.

At least I could feel a slight kiss,
And sometimes it’s all I want,
A hug from your arms,
While I fight for this divine love.
